We have done furnace services numerous times for last 10+ years. All that this technician did was to vacuum inside the furnace, asked me to turn on and turn off furnace, and said it is working fine. He didn't clean the burners, didn't check heating effectiveness, didn't check / change the filter ... Total rip off. I am calling amazon customer service.

Appointment was scheduled between 8am and 11 am, technician called and said that he will at 11 am, technician arrived at 11:23am. The request for service was regarding Furnace Maintenance, more specifically fan won't stop turning after heater has stopped after reaching desired temperature. Service was provide by Sam Singh from WesternAir Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning. The mechanic opened the side panels of the heater+ac unit and concluded that the unit is too old for maintenance, as in it is not worth it, even though I have already payed $94.19 through Amazon.com. The mechanic spend close to one hour explaining how my heater+ac unit is too old for any updates and that it should just be replaced. I didn't receive any of the services that are included in the Furnace Maintenance package listed on Amazon.com. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015JRGSQI/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I was ripped off my this company and I would very much like my money to be returned to me. Opening and closing the panels of my unit doesn't cost more than $2, I can do that by myself.

Keeping too many heat registers closed can cause heat to build up in your furnace, forcing air out of duct leaks and requiring the blowers to compensate for the added pressure. Essentially, blocking heating vents causes your furnace to work harder and longer than it is intended to work. Further, it forces air pressure to build up in your air ducts, which may both cause and worsens airflow leaks — particularly at joints and seams. Pros recommend keeping at least 80 percent of your heating registers open to prevent unnecessary air from building up in your furnace.
Cleaning the debris that builds up on your filters will aid with the flow of air. When your air filter is clogged, your air handler must work harder to compensate for the blockage of air flow. In addition to driving up your utility bill, the reduced air flow through your heating and cooling system can cause your heat exchanger to overheat and shut off too quickly.
