The cost to replace your entire unit is around $4,000. That expense can range from $2,500 to $5,900, depending on the type and brand of furnace you choose. Brands particularly have an impact on that price. A Goodman electric furnace, will only cost about $2,100 for the unit and labor. On the other hand, a Trane oil furnace may cost up to $9,000 all things considered. Our Furnace Installation Cost Guide can give you a better idea on both the general cost and the differences for brands like Amana, Bryant, Coleman, and others. The brand also plays into the repair cost for your furnace. Especially the prices of individual parts can change; a York heat exchanger, for example, can cost up to $1,900, while the same component from Heil will cost as little as $400.

If your furnace’s motor runs but the blower doesn’t move air, the belt that connects the two probably has broken. Replacing it is an easy fix. First, turn off all power to the unit and turn off the gas at the gas valve that serves the furnace. Remove the door on the front of the furnace cabinet to give you access to the blower (it might be on a slide-out drawer.) Check the number stamped on the belt and get an exact replacement from a home center or heating supply outlet.
CM Heating performed a Gas Furnace Diagnostic. Customer wanted his echo bee thermastat installed that he had bought himself. Furnace was working fine just wanted his thermastat installed. He thought that the $99 service fee was going to cover that but explained to him what the service fee was for, and explained that there is a additional install fee for the stat. Customer didn’t want to pay the additional fee so I called the office had them listen to the call to make sure we explained to the customer correctly and to see how they would like me to proceed. So I quoted the customer the fee to install the thermostat but he didn’t want us to install it so I left.
When choosing a heating and cooling company, it's important that you find one that employs licensed, highly trained, background-checked, and drug-tested technicians. Considering this person will be in your home, it would be nice if the technician is also well-groomed, honest, polite, informative, and will give you options on how to improve your comfort.
Tyler M came to my house today to clean the furnace fan and motor, and to check the furnace efficiency. He arrived on time, did a great job on the furnace. The fan was really dirty and did more work than was requested as a courtesy - and still charged the quoted price. Tyler was friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable, and was very efficient in completing the work. I would definitely recommend Tyler M and Swan plumbing and Heating for excellent work at a very reasonable price.

I had these guys out yesterday to do my routine furnace maintenance. They were right on time and very helpful explaining how my furnace worked and how the internal filter can be cleaned. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful discussing different options for filters with families who have bad allergies. I will definitely hire them for all of my furnace needs in the future!
